Yellowstone’s second season hasn’t wrapped up its broadcast run yet, but casting for season 3 is well underway, and now two new actors have been added: Q’orianka Kilcher and Jennifer Landon.

Q’orianka Kilcher and Jennifer Landon have both landed recurring roles in the upcoming third season of Paramount Network’s Yellowstone, reports Deadline. The series centers on the Dutton family’s constant efforts to protect their large ranch from the forces that would take it from them.

Kilcher, who recently played Mary Palmer in The Alienist and can be seen on the big screen in Dora and the Lost City of Gold, will play Angela Blue Thunder. Thunder is a political opponent of Thomas Rainwater, the leader of the Native American reservation near John Dutton’s (Kevin Costner) Yellowstone Ranch.

Thunder suffered past trauma that’s left her furious in the present. She believes Rainwater has mismanaged the reservation’s casino and wants to punish him for that and the world for everything else that she’s gone through. Sounds like a woman in the mold of the series’ Beth Dutton (Kelly Reilly), who is a bottomless pit of rage.

Meanwhile, Landon, who won three Daytime Emmys for her role on As the World Turns and was seen in the series Animal Kingdom, will play Teeter. The character is a new expert wrangler working at Yellowstone Ranch.

In its second season, Yellowstone continues to be a ratings winner for Paramount Network. It’s the most-watched summer series on cable.
