Netflix’s royal drama The Crown is finally premiering its third season this November!

The Crown is coming back, folks! And it’s been a hot minute since we’ve had a new season, but the wait is almost over. According to Deadline, the royal drama will premiere on Nov. 17th, nearly two years after its second season. The official Twitter account posted a quick sneak peek announcing the premiere date and a look at Olivia Colman as Queen Elizabeth II.

She looks amazing, doesn’t she?

The unique thing about The Crown is that after two seasons the entire cast has been swapped out to reflect the age of the individuals they are portraying. Replacing Claire Foy as the Queen is Colman, Matt Smith as Prince Philip is Tobias Menzies, Vanessa Kirby as Princess Margaret is Helena Bonham Carter, plus many more.

As we head into the third season of The Crown, we’ll start to see new cast members trickling in portraying individuals like Camilla Parker Bowles. If you know the history of the current monarchy, then you are likely well-versed in all the drama surrounding Camille Parker Bowles, Prince Charles, and Princess Diana. It’s likely we’ll start to see the beginnings of that triangle as season 3 comes to a close.

Season 3 will kick off circa 1964 and cover world events involving the Beatles and England’s 1966 World Cup win. Honestly, I’m so here for any and all Beatles music! How exciting will that be?
