Snowfall season 3, episode 6 recap: Confessions

The characters of Snowfall have some Confessions to make. They are all addicting storylines.

Andre got roughed up by fellow police officers on Snowfall. Perhaps he is finally learning what Franklin was explaining to Reid. There are two Americas, and Andre is a resident on the less fortunate side. He just happens to be employed by the law enforcement arm of the more fortunate citizens of the world.

Andre now has a daughter most likely lost to the crack lifestyle. A day before she was going to ride off to college, the trailer for next week’s episode eludes to her being reported missing. It is unlikely he gets much help from his brothers in the police department. Andre is caught between being hungry for busting Franklin and being tired of eating the racist garbage the other cops feed him daily.

Melody is now just a crackhead. Those eyes on the first hit will never look for anything except the next rock to smoke. She fell in love and can only hope to find addiction treatment immediately. She will fail out of college if she ever makes it to campus. Franklin is surely done with her now. She cannot even be trusted to help move supply into the college market.

And Franklin is all about his money. Avi set him up with his first grams, much fewer kilos. Now Franklin is setting up his crew to pull guns on Avi’s entourage to get a measly million. Franklin’s enterprise makes that in minutes. Avi used to be on his game, now he is on the clock. Even though he gave up the folder on Reid, he still owes Franklin over million plus the interest that is still accumulating.

Leon and Franklin have finally found their rhythm and a certain comfort level with the violence that comes with the job. Both can now carry themselves with the confidence of self-made men willing to spare no expense to get their business done.
