Franklin has turned a corner in the drug game in Snowfall. Everyone else is worried about what threats are lying in wait around the next bend in the road.

The battle lines and drug territories of the Snowfall universe have been drawn. Franklin wants to expand. Teddy wants to keep the operation running smoothly. The Columbians want their own night club. Andre wants the police to take the crack cocaine epidemic seriously. He wants to be taken seriously.

Franklin and Teddy are dancing around the eventual confrontation that is bound to happen. The same is true for Franklin and Andre, though that battle will soon be waged. Teddy and Franklin still need each other, while Andre and Franklin have lost their mutual respect.

Franklin does not want Andre’s daughter anymore, he wants to destroy Andre’s life. Andre feels the same about Franklin, which is why he led the task force raids that seized dozens of guns and kilograms of cocaine. So Franklin put a plan in place that has him now in possession of Andre’s badge and his department issued firearm.

Andre’s actions made him the highlight of the afternoon news and also earning his daughter Melody a few new bruises. Now that he is suspended from the police force, he is ready to go back to doing dirty work. All he needs to know is where Franklin is sleeping at night.

Franklin may be sleeping like a baby in a new crib, or so he said to Andre. The rest of the crew is having trouble getting comfortable with their new lot in life. Leon definitely does not want to speak to ManBoy again. Franklin’s mother is tired of worrying about her son.

Even Jerome wants out of the game. He wants Franklin and the whole family out of the drug smuggling enterprise. However, when he reminds Franklin he used to sell dime bags of shake, Franklin reminds him who his supplier was back then.

Franklin needed guidance to get where he is today. Now though, none of his most trusted advisors can relate to the problems Franklin is juggling. Franklin is safe as long as he is useful to Teddy and the government’s cover operation.

However, the government might not want Teddy doing much more. IF the operation is terminated, the collateral damage will be the people that Franklin loves, and maybe a few Snowfall characters he doesn’t. He has to play it smart, or else he will be back on the bottom bunk of a prison cell, fighting for his shoes instead of market share.
