Netflix’s Top Boy gets confirmed air date for the fall
Netflix has finally confirmed the air date of season three of their Top Boy revival. The crime drama is highly rated and was rescued by recording artist Drake.
If you haven’t seen Top Boy then please let me recommend it with the utmost of sincerity. Especially if you have a taste for authentic street drama and want a quality British product in your lives.
In fact, the entire first two seasons can be viewed in Netflix now. Trust me, it’s very well-made, entertaining and showcases exceedingly good, moving portrayals. So much so that it is completely baffling that England’s Channel 4 decided to cancel the show.
After it was removed from listing, leading Canadian hip-hop star Drake stumbled on the online series and was apparently mesmerized specifically by the actors’ efforts. He contacted his business partner, and subsequently, the streaming site in question managed to revive the project. Presumably with a larger budget than originated bestowed.
Yet it was the gritty realistic nature to the drama which peaked Drake’s attention, along with critics and viewers around the world. Therefore too much gloss and bling wouldn’t be a real representation of the “Endz” depicted in the production.
Top Boy is on its way!
At long last season three of Top Boy is almost on our screens.
So, there you have it – Top Boy returns on September 13. And Netflix announced it in the most modern of ways: as a response to a low-key tweet, of course.
Are you excited for the new season, which will see Sully and DuShane attempt to retake what is theirs?
