Vincent D’Onofrio still hasn’t given up on Daredevil season 4.

Netflix may have axed the beloved Marvel series back in November, but D’onofrio is still fighting. The actor has been an outspoken advocate for Daredevil season 4 and has continually promoted renewal campaigns online.

He responded to a fan online recently who was targeting Marvel to try and save the series. Like Charlie Cox, he signed the petition to bring the show back and has been a big supporter of the #SaveDaredevil movement. This is has been a popular sentiment among fans, that Marvel could continue the show on Disney+ once the contract with Netflix is expired.

Unfortunately, Netflix has been very vocal about not removing any content from their own service. This has lead to trouble with moving shows to different streaming services, like One Day at a Time. It essentially forces new viewers to watch the original content on Netflix before checking out the show’s new home.

Vincent D’Onofrio played the role of Kingpin on all three season of Daredevil. The notorious villain is a massive fan-favorite from the comicbooks. Even if the show doesn’t continue, most viewers have hoped that Marvel will keep him as the Kingpin in the MCU.

It’s unclear how the contracts with Netflix work but reportedly Marvel is not allowed to develop anything with these characters for two years. This means it could be a long time until we see them back on screen, but with enough fan motivation, it’s possible the actors are able to return then.
