The Haunting of Bly Manor: Everything we know about the cast so far
Some new and familiar faces will be checking into The Haunting of Bly Manor.
Netflix has confirmed a handful of cast members for the upcoming follow-up to The Haunting of Hill House. The second season is titled, The Haunting of Bly Manor, and will be based on the Henry James story, The Turn of the Screw.
The Returning Cast
Back in June, it was announced that Victoria Pedretti would be back as the lead for the new season. Pedretti originally played the adult Nell Crain and was widely praised for her beautiful performance. This time around, she’ll be stepping into the shows of the governess, Dani, who is tasked with watching over two unique children.
Oliver Jackson-Cohen will also return for The Haunting of Bly Manor. He was the adult version of Luke Crain in season 1, who was Nell’s twin. It doesn’t seem like they’ll be siblings this time, instead, Jackson-Cohen will “a charming young man” named Peter.
Returning cast members also include Henry Thomas (young Hugh Crain), Kate Siegel (adult Theo Crain), and Catherine Parker (Poppy Hill), however, their roles are currently being kept under wraps for the time being.
The New Cast
Rahul Kohli joins the upcoming season as a man who returns to look after his ill mother. His character description has him pegged as “a small-town guy with a worldly mindset”.
Amelia Eve and Benjamin Ainsworth will be playing Flora and Miles, who seem to be the two children who Pedretti’s Dani will be keeping an eye on.
Finally, T’Nia Miller has also joined the cast in a secret role for the time being.
The Haunting of Bly Manor is not expected to hit Netflix until sometime in 2020.
