7. Stumptown

Stumptown holds the star power of fan-favorite actors like How I Met Your Mother‘s Cobie Smulders and New Girl‘s Jake Johnson and alongside that, it also has a benefit of having a reliable source material to fall back on. The series follows Cobie Smulders’s Dex Parios, a military intelligence veteran turned private investigator in Portland and is based on the graphic novels of the same name written by Greg Rucka. Jake Johnson is set to play a bartender once again. Stumptown premieres September 25 on ABC.
