Modern Love has been renewed for a second season!

Modern Love will be back for another season–and we couldn’t be more excited!
Modern Love is officially coming back for another season, folks. And if you’ve checked out the first season, then you’ll be just excited as I am. The eight-episode first season was filled with the most beautiful, romantic, inspiring, and uplifting stories. My personal favorites? The one about the doorman and the one with Anne Hathaway.
If you’re one of those people who has yet to check it out, then I urge you to not waste another minute and go watch! Seriously, it will change your life. Luckily, Amazon Studios sees the potential in the series and is giving it another season, according to Deadline. And if season one was any indication, then I think the next one is going to be absolutely amazing.
Based on the New York Times column by the same name, Modern Love explores love in all its different forms, shapes, and sizes. Each story depicts a unique story of love, be it platonic, romantic, familial, or somewhere in between.
Along with the season 2 renewal, Modern Love’s executive producer, John Carney, has also signed an overall deal with Amazon Studios. I think we can rest assured that Modern Love is here to stay, at least for a while (we hope!).

Apart from its incredible stories, what makes this series stand out even more is its talented cast. From Anne Hathaway, to Dev Patel, to Tina Fey, to Andy Garcia–Modern Love has got them all. I can only imagine what the season 2 cast could look like, but it looks like we’ll have to wait until 2020 to find out!
