Schitt’s Creek broke into FanSided 250 this year!

It’s been a big year for the Schitt’s Creek fandom. The show finally earned some of the award show recognition it deserved with a few Emmy nominations this year. On top of that, the series landed a spot on the FanSided 250 ranking, proving just how important the fanbase has been for launching this small but beloved series into the spotlight.

On the overall rankingSchitt’s Creek came in at 232, while it came in at 31 on the television rankings. While it’s incredible the show ranked, we definitely think it could’ve earned a higher spot on FanSided 250. The comedy has had a meteoric rise, easily becoming one of the most popular shows on the air. This would be understandable if the show came from a big broadcast network or a streaming service. However, Schitt’s Creek hails from Pop TV, a network most people aren’t even aware they have.

Despite being at the peak of its popularity, the series will ultimately be coming to an end in 2020. Co-creators and father/son duo Eugene and Dan Levy announced they decided season 6 will be the final run for the series. It’s hard to fault them for going out on top, and giving fans six perfect seasons of the beloved show.
