The Addams Family, Bob’s Burgers, and 10 best irreverent family comedies streaming now

4. Family Guy (1999– )
Like plenty of classic shows and family comedies, Family Guy is polarizing. Not everyone appreciates the frequent cutaway gags and, let’s face it; some episodes are bound to be better than others. Still, to many of us, Family Guy has some undeniably funny moments, whether one appreciates the show overall or not. What more needs to be said?
Everyone knows about Peter, Brian, Stewie, Meg, Lois, Quagmire, and Joe, as well as iffier characters like Herbert. Also, everyone surely misses Mayor Adam West. Anyway, you can watch tons of episodes on Hulu. You may be able to find smidgeons of Family Guy on FXNOW or even the Adult Swim website, but Hulu is still the main place.
Family Guy is on Hulu, FXNOW (as scheduled).
3. It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia (2005– )
Get out your toe knife and hang onto your sweet, sweet rum ham! All episodes of It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia appear to be available on Hulu. This means you can assess whether Dennis is really a serial killer.
Can Dee really act? Will Mac ever actually do anything heroic? Will Dee ever own a car that doesn’t get destroyed by the gang? These questions await you and more if you have a Hulu subscription.
Failing that, you may be able to find episodes on FXNOW occasionally. A fair warning: It’s Always Sunny is a dark comedy, pushing the boundaries of fair taste. It is not for the faint of heart! Still, comedies like this are important for those of us who get them.
Always Sunny is available on Hulu and FXNOW (as scheduled).
