Summer TV shows: Dark
The final season of Netflix’s popular series Dark is set to debut on the streaming service beginning on June 27. The show focuses on multiple families spanning generations amid a time travel conspiracy, all of which revolve around the apocalypse. The series showrunner promised fans that the third season would deliver some genuine answers to many of their questions.
The third season has been advertised as ending the “final cycle.” The German thriller has been a breakout hit for the streaming service. You’ve got plenty of time to check out the first two seasons before the next season hits!
Summer TV shows: The Alienist
Season 2 of The Alienist, titled Angel of Darkness, is finally premiering on TNT soon. Fans have had to wait almost two years now for more content. Luckily, that long wait is almost over. The new season will premiere one week after Snowpiercer‘s season one finale.
The second season will focus more on Sara as she opens up her own private detective agency. Dakota Johnson, Daniel Brühl, and Luke Evans will all return to reprise their roles. Season 2 will focus on yet another sinister killer while diving into some of the provocative issues of the time period.
