Watchmen: HBO makes all eight episodes free to watch
HBO will make all nine episodes of its critically-acclaimed series Watchmen free to watch beginning on Friday, June 19 through June 21.
For those who have not had a chance to watch the series yet, this weekend will be the perfect time to binge-watch it! You won’t even need to pay for HBO to do it. All you need to do is go on HBO.com or Free On Demand to watch the series.
The decision comes from HBO trying to highlight “Black experiences, voices and storytellers,” according to the official press release.

For those who do have access to HBO, you can also marathon the show, as it will begin on Friday at 1:00 p.m. ET on both HBO and HBO Latino.
The series has been praised for its poignancy and timeliness as it deals with everything from police brutality to systemic racism and much more.
Watchmen is based on the graphic novel of the same name, although it also introduces a lot of new elements that are original to the show. Regina King stars in the Peabody Award-winning series that is executive produced by Damon Lindelof, of The Leftovers and Lost fame.
Aside from Watchmen, HBO will also be making several other titles free to watch over the weekend, including Being Serena, Bessie, Whoopi Goldberg presents Moms Mabley, The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks, United Skates, Jerrod Carmicheal’s Home Videos, Lil’ Rel Live In Crenshaw, The Apollo, and various episodes of Treme, The Shop, True Detective Season 3, and The No.1 Ladies’ Detective Agency.
Other titles available right now include the premiere of We’re Here, Euphoria, Random Acts of Flyness, Insecure, Ballers, A Black Lady Sketch Show, The Wire, and Betty.
