The Flash, Lucifer, Supergirl, and all the DC shows will be at DC Fandome in August.

It seems like this year’s San Diego Comic-Con, which recently announced that they will be going virtual this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic has taken a huge hit as The Flash, Lucifer, Supergirl and every other DCTV shows and movies are most likely be not attending it as Warner Bros. and DC have recently announced that they will be hosting a first of its kind virtual convention, DC Fandome, for their many film and TV projects in August, which promises an epic experience for fans.

Warner Bros is slated to launch DC FanDome, a first of its kind global online event, which will feature plenty of big announcements, reveals, teases, screenings, panels and much more new content from all across the DC’s TV, movies, games, and comics library, on August 22.

The site which will go live at 10 AM PST will only be exclusively available for 24 hours. And, the best part about it is that it’s all absolutely free, you will just need a good internet connection and you are all set.

From what we know right now, the massive nerdfest will feature the cast and creators of the DC Shows like The Flash, Lucifer, Superman and Lois, Supergirl, Pennyworth, Teen Titans GO!, Titans, Watchmen, Young Justice: Outsiders, Batwoman, Black Lightning, DC Super Hero Girls, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, DC’s Stargirl, and Doom Patrol alongside DC films like Wonder Woman 1984, Aquaman, The Batman, Black Adam, Snyder Cut, SHAZAM!, and The Suicide Squad. There will also be news related to DC Games and comics as well.

DC Fandome: How will the virtual event take place?

In a press release issued by Warner Bros. and DC, it was stated that the event be will take place inside six “different, fully-programmed areas inside the virtual DC FanDome.” The “epicenter” of the event and the main center of attraction will be the Hall of Heroes, which is where we’ll all be able to watch the panels, special reveals, and special programming.

Apart from that, fans can also visit DC WatchVerse, which will have even more screenings, and never-before-seen content like behind the scenes and maybe even bloopers reels. There’s also going to be a section dedicated to fan-generated content, DC Youverse, which highlights fan arts and cosplays, and will also reward some of the fanworks with cash prizes, you can submit your content here.

DC InsideVerse will feature the creative talent behind the best of DC and will feature some of DC’s biggest behind the scenes names such as CCO Jim Lee, Walter Hamada (President of DC Film Productions), and the godfather of the Arrowverse who pretty much runs the entire CW at this point, Greg Berlanti. There will also be a DC KidsVerse for kids and younger audiences, and a DC FunVerse, for reading comics, merch shopping, and more.

It is notable that DC FanDome will be available in multiple languages other than English like Chinese, Portuguese, French, Brazilian, Japanese, Korean, German, Italian, and Spanish. And it is also said to have been set to feature country-specific content as well.

This sure promises a lot of exciting things and an entire day full of relaxing while geeking out in these stressful times. We just can’t wait to see what will be shown for our favorite DCTV shows especially after the abrupt ending of their previous seasons due to the production shut down. And while this does take a lot of excitement away from San Diego Comic-Con, don’t worry just yet, after all, Marvel and Disney+ might just have something to show to the fans, and there’s always Netflix.
