4. Emmys 2020: Living With Yourself

People love Paul Rudd, so it’s not surprising that people really loved a comedy show on Netflix that offered not just one Rudd, but two. In the new series, Rudd is enlisted to play a man who discovers that a clone of himself has replaced him in his regular life.

While the series failed to make a big splash, it was still liked by most critics and audiences. More than that, Rudd was fantastic in the role and voters love to see actors play multiple versions of themselves. It’s a great way to take those acting muscles to the limits.

3. Emmys 2020: Dead to Me

Dead to Me starring Linda Cardellini and Christina Applegate recently returned for its second season. Sadly, we recently learned the show would only return for one more season, but it’s definitely obvious that both Applegate and Cardellini deserve acting nominations for their work in season two.

Particularly Applegate, who had to portray Jen Harding int a delicate position with the reveal that she secretly murdered Steve under different circumstances than what she initially conveyed to Judy. Jen keeps that secret for almost the entire season before it finally bubbles up to the surface, as these things tend to do.
