The Undoing: HBO debuts teaser, release date, and more

HBO has finally released the teaser for The Undoing.
We finally have the official teaser for the upcoming HBO series The Undoing, which stars Nicole Kidman and Hugh Grant. It also reunites Kidman with Big Little Lies creator and writer, David E. Kelley, which is plenty exciting.
The teaser doesn’t give us much in terms of a plot explanation, but it does create a sense of foreboding and plenty of those ominous HBO quotes they’re so good at making to give you the incentive to watch the show. You can view the teaser for yourself at the bottom of this article.

What is The Undoing about and who stars?
Aside from Kidman and Grant, the series stars Edgar Ramirez, Lily Rabe, Noah Jupe, Sofie Gråbøl, Noma Dumezweni, and Donald Sutherland. Academy Award and Golden Globe-winning director Susanne Bier, of The Night Manager fame, directs all six episodes of The Undoing.
The series is based on Jean Hanff Korelitz’s novel, You Should Have Known. It follows Kidman’s character Grace, and her husband Jonathan Fraser (Grant). They have a dream life, full of all the things they ever want, but then one night, something terrible happens leaving behind a violent death and a domino effect of “terrible revelations.”
A public disaster causes Grace to deal with her life falling apart at the seams as she must slowly dismantle her seemingly perfect life and create a new one to save her family.
When will The Undoing premiere on HBO?
We’ve still got a while to go before The Undoing officially debuts on HBO. The series will premiere on October 25. It will also be available to watch on HBO Max, but as it is an HBO production, don’t expect all six episodes to be available at once. It will likely be a weekly series.
