We’ve compiled a list of shows like P-Valley to keep you occupied until season 2 premieres on Starz.
The season 1 finale of P-Valley aired on Starz last weekend, meaning we won’t be able to catch up with the ladies of The Pynk anytime soon. Thankfully, the series will return for season 2, but until it premieres, here are some shows like P-Valley to try watching in the interim. Each show on this list is available to stream!
5. Shows like P-Valley: Queen Sugar
Acclaimed director Ava Duvernay created the OWN Network series Queen Sugar and serves as an executive producer on the series alongside Oprah Winfrey. Duvernay has also directed many episodes of the series.

Based on a novel of the same name by Natalie Baszile, Queen Sugar follows the three Bordelon siblings after they inherit their father’s 800-acre sugar farm.
Nova (Rutina Wesley) is an activist and journalist, Charley (Dawn-Lyen Gardner) is the wife and manager of an NBA player involved in a high-profile scandal, and the formerly-incarcerated Ralph Angel (Kofi Siriboe) is working to redeem himself and reconnect with his son, Blue.
Queen Sugar is critically-acclaimed and has won multiple awards throughout its four-season run. The series will return for a fifth season soon and is currently available to stream on Hulu.
