Raised By Wolves: When will Season 2 premiere?

Three episodes remain of Raised By Wolves season 1, but HBO Max has already ordered Raised By Wolves season 2.
Ridley Scott’s hit new sci-fi series Raised By Wolves will return for another season. According to a recent press release, HBO Max has greenlit Raised By Wolves Season 2 after it quickly became the streaming service’s top-performing original series since the platform’s launch. The critically-acclaimed project grew 50% in viewership in its second week and continues to a hot topic on social media platforms.
Head of HBO Max, Sarah Aubrey, praised the series for its incredible “artistry in crafting a compelling storyline.” She credited showrunner Aaron Guzikowski and Scott for their phenomenal work in crafting the show’s compelling world and rich stories.

When will Raised By Wolves Season 2 premiere on HBO Max?
I’m sure HBO Max would like the show to debut by fall 2021, but due to the big-budgeted nature of the series and the ongoing pandemic, it’s not yet clear if it will be able to stay on track. Optimistically, I hope we will see new episodes by winter of 2021, but the streaming service could push it back to an early 2022 debut.
What should we expect from Raised By Wolves Season 2?
Raised By Wolves begins with two androids tasked with raising children on the virgin planet Kepler-22b after warring religious and anti-religious factions destroy the earth. The goal for this new world is to keep humanity from succumbing to war once more over religion, and it proves to be a complex and arduous task.
The cast, including Abubaker Salim, Travis Fimmel, and Amanda Collins, has received enormous praise for their portrayals. Several critics have lauded the show as being one of the most engaging and intriguing original sci-fi shows in a long time.

So, what does all of this mean for Raised By Wolves Season 2? Since we still have three episodes remaining of the first season, it’s hard to know what direction the show will go next. After watching the finale, we’ll have a better idea. However, Guzikowski recently chatted with Decider and revealed that at least five seasons had been sketched out so far by the writers.
He promised fans they would get some answers soon to some of the series’ most prominent questions, although he did say some things would be left mysterious for now. It’s good to know the writers are already planning for future storylines so we can rest assured there will be a payoff in the future, even if not quite yet!
In Guzikowski’s mind, he sees “the planet almost as a haunted house. In a sense that, it’s filled with all these rooms, and there are probably families that have lived here before that you don’t even know exist. But you’ll start to find out in all these hidden rooms. And then the idea that there’s an attic — you don’t even know it’s there.”
