In Saved by the Bell Episode 7, Lexi and Mac try to break up Jamie and Aisha’s new relationship.

Realizing she might have lost her chance with Jamie, Lexi teams up with Mac to sabotage his new relationship with Aisha in the rebooted Saved by the Bell Episode 7, “House Party.” The perfect opportunity for their convoluted plan is at Jamie’s upcoming birthday bash. There, Mac and Jessie decide they’ll try and make Aisha jealous of Jamie’s past and then Lexi can swoop in and kiss Jamie while he’s alone and vulnerable to seal the deal.

At first, it looks like their plan has succeeded because when Lexi and Mac deliver a bunch of presents supposedly from Jamie’s ex-girlfriends, Aisha gets upset and walks away. However, when it comes time for Lexi to manipulate Jamie, she can’t bring herself to do it. Mac notes that Lexi has changed and become less mean and softer earlier in the episode.

She denies it when he says it, but when Jamie tells her that he likes the new version of her and how she seems much happier now, Lexi realizes she has changed and that it’s for the better. She can’t bring herself to take advantage of Jamie.

Later, Lexi finds Aisha and asks her why she got so upset. Aisha says she wasn’t jealous, but she realizes that she and Jamie come from two different worlds. At school, it’s not so noticeable but being inside of his big house and seeing all of his fancy gifts made her realize that she’s not used to being around someone who is rich.

She’s not able to buy him Rolexes or an Oculus. Lexi, sort of, points out that romances across class lines happen all of the time, and she shouldn’t let needless things stand in the way of her and Jamie. The pair make up and Lexi tells Mac about her feelings for Jamie and why she decided not to go through with their plan.

A C-plot in this Saved by the Bell episode revolves around Daisy trying to channel the characters of Euphoria so she can let loose and get a little wild at the party. In reality, she gets too drunk, makes out with a coat, and spends most of her evening locked in a closet.

Saved by the Bell Episode 7 recap: Slater gets a wake-up call.

Slater and Jessie shippers will love this episode because it has a lot of almost-moments between the two original castmates. Early on, Slater tries to casually ask Jessie to hang out but she can’t since she gets invited to visit her husband Rene (Cheyenne Jackson) on a writer’s retreat. Instead, Slater winds up going on a weird double-date with Toddman, but he genuinely hits it off with his date, Michelle.

Unfortunately, in the middle of the date, Slater gets a call from Jessie regarding the house party. She asks him to go over and break it up. Instead of breaking it up, Slater gets roped into hanging out with the teens and participating in a dance party. When the cops finally show up, they mistake Daisy for Slater’s daughter and assume she just got a little rowdy.

They leave without causing too much trouble, but then one of the teens says he can’t wait to be like Slater when he grows up — old, alone, childless, and still dancing with kids. It makes Slater realize that he needs to grow up a little bit. He stays behind after the party to clean up and is still there when Jessie gets home.

At first, it looks like the two might hang out alone but then Rene appears too. He decided to come home with Jessie and leave his retreat early. Slater looks a little disappointed but takes it as a sign to reach out to Michelle and invite her out for dinner — alone.
