2. Shows coming to Netflix 2021: Shadow and Bone

Fans have eagerly awaited the adaptation of Leigh Bardugo’s immensely popular novel Six of Crows since the moment it was announced. The fantasy series is about a world divided by a massive barrier of perpetual darkness where unnatural creatures devour humans. But one day, a young woman discovers a power that could finally unite the country.

Unfortunately for her, it won’t be easy to make that happen as there are many dangerous forces out to get her — including thugs, thieves and assassins. Netflix recently released the official announcement teaser for the series to drum up excitement. Shadow and Bone stars Jessie Mei Li, Ben Barnes, Freddy Carter, Amita Suman, Kit Young and Archie Renaux.

Shadow and Bone will premiere in April.

1. Shows coming to Netflix 2021: Vikings: Valhalla

It came as a surprise to many when it was announced that Netflix would be producing a spin-off of Vikings, given that the series came from A+E Networks and premiered on the History Channel. The news was announced that the final batch of episodes would be exclusive to Amazon Prime Video.

It’s a little confusing to see a property divided up between three different homes like this, but we’re not complaining if it gives us more Vikings! The new historical action-fiction drama, officially titled Vikings: Valhalla, will start a century after the original series and tell the stories of some of the most notable Norsemen in history, including Leif Erikson, Freydís Eiríksdóttir and Harald Hardrada. While we don’t have an airdate yet, it is predicted that Vikings: Valhalla will air toward the end of 2021.
