Season 1 of the Netflix series finds Ava at first unsure of her place in the world and just trying her best to live life to the fullest. Ava initially spends a lot of time with a young man called JC (Emilio Sakraya) and his friends, staying in nice houses and going to parties.
However, as time goes on, Ava begins to connect to her Sister Warriors and decides to step into her role as the Halo Bearer, and the latest in a long line of Warrior Nuns.
With some occasional help from JC and his friends and tech CEO Jillian Salvius (Thekla Reuten), Ava learns to adapt to her new life. And it’s lucky that she does because as she and her Sister Warriors find out more about the Order of the Cruciform Sword’s past, they realize what they need to do.
Ava and her fellow warriors find out that whatever is in Adriel’s tomb keeps demons tethered to this world. So Ava decides to destroy what she finds in the tomb, making sure demons would no longer be stuck in this world and ending the cycle of Warrior Nuns. The story is full of twists and turns and interesting characters, so sit back, relax, and enter the world of Warrior Nun.
