When does Mayans MC Season 3 premiere on FX?

It has been over a year since we caught up with Mayans MC, but we finally know when Mayans MC Season 3 is going to premiere! According to TVLine, the Sons of Anarchy spin-off series is returning on Tuesday, March 16 at 10/9c with a two-hour premiere.

For those who haven’t been keeping count, it has been more than 16 months since fans have been able to watch their favorite bikers get into all sorts of trouble and mischief. What caused the delay? The same thing that’s been causing all the other television production problems — the pandemic.

Thankfully, fans are just a few more weeks away from catching up on things after that jaw-dropping Season 2 finale. The third season will start shortly after the second season left us with Felipe on the verge of deportation at the hands of Assistant District Attorney Lincoln Potter.

But EZ and Angel managed to come through for Felipe and help him avoid getting deported by using “incriminating information” to protect Felipe, although it came at the cost of leaving Adelita behind bars where she was forced to give birth to Angel’s son while in handcuffs.

According to the press release, Miguel will be left “reeling over the loss of his mother to apparent suicide, while others quietly suspect foul play. Additionally, the Mayans seek vengeance on their rivals, the Tijuana M.C. Vatos Malditos, after a surprise attack on their club. When the smoke clears, they discover the body of a Sons of Anarchy Motorcycle Club Redwood Original – there will be hell to pay.”

How many episodes in Mayans MC Season 3?

Per TVLine, the third season of Mayans MC will consist of 10 episodes, following suit from the previous two seasons. So far, there’s no information on the episode titles or how the season will air.

Will it take any hiatuses? Most likely, it will have a midseason hiatus, but considering the pandemic troubles and long wait between Season 2 and 3, FX might just air the entire season in consecutive weeks without breaks. It’s too early to tell just yet.
