Mythic Quest Season 2 is finally here and everyone is having sex dreams about Ian.

I’m so happy that my Mythic Quest family has finally returned to me. This underrated Apple TV+ gem is the perfect burst of serotonin and Mythic Quest Season 2 kicks off with renewed confidence and hilarity after that amazing “Everlight” special episode.

Apple TV+ was kind enough to release two episodes this week before the one-episode weekly rollout we’ll see for the remainder of the season, and the first episode, aptly titled “Titan’s Rift,” focuses on Poppy’s struggles to adapt to her new role as co-creative director. She and Ian are on equal footing now, so why doesn’t it feel like it?

Poppy is plagued by sex dreams about Ian, but according to both David and Dana (who have both had sex dreams featuring Ian and are obsessed with finding out if they satisfied him or not), sex dreams about your boss are less about the sex and more about the power struggle. Yes, Poppy is technically Ian’s equal now, but she still feels like she has to answer to him. Then Ian takes off for his yearly “sabbatical” in Arizona, leaving Poppy to come up with the title for the new Mythic Quest expansion on her own.

Her first attempt, “Sea of Ashes” is mostly met with a lackluster response, but then she has a dream where Ian and David have sex and Ian whispers the perfect name for the expansion into David’s ear: “Titans’ Rift.”
