Mythic Quest is finally back for its second season and already the Apple TV+ sitcom is receiving rave reviews from fans and critics alike. Mythic Quest Season 2 even managed to secure a rare 100% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes!
The new season sees our favorite team members trying to navigate their new expansion, but things are complicated because of Poppy’s new position as the co-director alongside Ian. The pair are still trying to figure out how to navigate their partnership on equal footing.
Last week, Apple TV+ gave fans a wonderful surprise in the form of two new episodes with Season 2, Episode 1 and Episode 2 dropping simultaneously. Thankfully, the third episode is coming soon, so here’s everything you need to know about Mythic Quest Season 2, Episode 3, “#YumYum.”
When does Mythic Quest Season 2, Episode 3 release?
The new episode, titled “#YumYum” will release on May 14, 2021, at 12:01 a.m. EST. Season 2 of the series created by Charlie Day, Megan Ganz and Rob McElhenney is expected to have nine episodes in total, releasing one new installment every Friday.

Mythic Quest is an Apple TV+ Original and therefore exclusive to the Apple TV+ streaming service.

Moving ahead into the season, you can anticipate the new episode to focus on the continued evolution of Ian and Poppy’s partnership. As of the last episode, Poppy had secured a new programming team that would answer specifically to her. If David follows through on that promise, then we can anticipate seeing Ian and Poppy attempting to work on the expansion separately.
It’ll be interesting to see if that lasts or if they’ll be able to come together and put aside any differences to work as a combined unit. Elsewhere, Brad tries to find David a romantic partner. Since we know Brad is pretty selfish and doesn’t do anything without an ulterior motive, I’m guessing he’s doing this as a ploy to get something out of David, or maybe just to have David stop bugging him.
Jo will be working with CJ in this week’s episode to assist him with a deal he’s made with his publisher. Based on photos released for the episode, CJ is still working remotely.
