5 reasons NBC’s Manifest should be renewed for Season 4

We’re outlining the five main reasons NBC’s Manifest needs to be saved.
According to Deadline, NBC has decided to cancel Manifest leading into what would have been its 4th season. But with the passengers’ lives still hanging in the balance, we can’t help but hope that we will see Manifest again.
In season 3 of Manifest, we had learned so much about the origin of the passengers and how their journey might take shape. The meth-heads taught us about the lifeboat and connections. The ark piece taught us that the plane can not be disturbed.
Throughout the season, we had put pieces of biblical times together with Zeke and his abilities along with the new manifestation of the callings.
The way season 3 ended has left us with many open-ended questions that we can’t begin to put together ourselves. Here are 5 burning questions and reasons that we still have if Manifest is to be saved.
5. Manifest Season 3 Unanswered Question: Where and when is Cal?
In the season 3 finale of Manifest, Cal said that “he had to go” and that “it has to be like this”. But what did he mean? Toward the end of the episode, we see an Older Cal come and comfort Grace as she “dies.”
Cal disappeared as he touched the tailfin. But then Cal reappears, grabs his stuffed animal, places it under Cal’s head, but something is different.
Cal looks the same age as Olive, now. With Cal’s ability to predict the future with his drawings, how did he not see this coming or try to save her?
When he touched the tailfin, did this change his age and send him into the future? Could this mean he also beat his death date?
If Manifest gets picked up for a season 4, we want this to be one of the first questions answered.
