Tonight’s new episode of Ted Lasso will finally see Ted end up on Dr. Sharon’s couch. At least that’s the direction the show appeared to be headed in based on the previous episode. Ted Lasso Season 2, Episode 7, “Headspace,” sees many of our favorite characters dealing with internal problems. Keep reading for more details on the latest episode.

Warning: The following article contains spoilers for Ted Lasso Season 2.

Ted had a panic attack during AFC Richmond’s quarterfinals match against the Tottenham Hotspurs in the previous episode. While the team did get an impressive victory, Ted wasn’t there to witness the final moments. Instead, seeing Jamie triggered some of his issues regarding his own son, given what Ted knows about Jamie’s father and sent him running to the locker rooms.

While everyone else assumed Ted just had a bad case of the bubble guts, Rebecca was the only person to notice Ted run off the field and sense that something more than that was going on. When we last saw Ted, he was in Dr. Sharon’s office, ready to make an appointment after several episodes of denying her assistance. And speaking of Rebecca, we finally discovered who her Bantr match is: Sam.

What is Ted Lasso Season 2, Episode 7 about?

Given the name of this episode is “Headspace,” it seems like a clear indicator that we’re going to get inside Ted’s head and find out what makes him tick. Beyond that, other characters have plenty of problems to deal with, too, including Roy and Nate’s recent jealousy toward Roy joining as a new coach. It’ll also be interesting to see how this whole Rebecca/Sam thing plays out on Bantr.
