Gilmore Girls is the ultimate fall show. If you’re one of the many people rewatching as the leaves change, you may recognize some familiar faces. There’s Melissa McCarthy, of course, who plays Sookie and has since gone on to star in massive comedy blockbusters like Bridesmaids and Spy, as well as Jared Padalecki, who just wrapped up a hugely successful run on Supernatural. You may also recognize Sherry Tinsdale, Christopher’s perky (eventually ex) fiancée, and be wondering where you’ve seen her before. Who plays Sherry in Gilmore Girls?

Who is Sherry in Gilmore Girls?

Sherry is Christopher’s type-A on-again, off-again girlfriend. Though at one point, Lorelai and Christopher sleep together when they’re broken up, Christopher eventually goes back to Sherry once he finds out she’s pregnant with their daughter Gigi. She appears in three episodes in Gilmore Girls seasons 2 and 3: “It Should’ve Been Lorelai,” “Take the Deviled Eggs…” and “Dear Emily and Richard.” Throughout the show, Sherry can be seen forcing Rory to bond with her, throwing a green-themed baby shower, and panicking when her baby comes early and Christopher isn’t at the hospital.
