Excited for The Flight Attendant Season 2? Check out the book the first season is based on (and it’s on sale)

In late November 2020, HBO Max launched a new show called The Flight Attendant, where Kaley Cuoco played the titular flight attendant Cassie Bowden who wakes up in Bangkok next to a dead body. Now the show is back with its second season, set to premiere on the streaming platform on April 21.
Fans simply can’t wait to see what’s in store for Cassie. But did you know that the first season was based on a book with the same name written by Chris Bohjalian?
Before the new season arrives, take a look back and check out where this story all began.
Chris Bohjalian’s The Flight Attendant was published in 2018 and has become a New York Times bestselling book. The book follows flight attendant Cassie Bowden after she wakes up hungover, this time in a Dubai hotel room, not in Bangkok, with a dead man in bed with her.
Like the show, Cassie must contend with alcoholism, her coworkers, Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) agents asking her questions, and whether she could’ve killed this man. The book tells the story in a different but equally captivating way.
The best part is that it’s currently on sale on Amazon in paperback for $7.48. Though the first season seems to have stayed fairly true to the book, it’s safe to say that the second season will depart from the source material and offer fans a new look at Cassie.
Make sure to head over to Amazon to get a copy of The Flight Attendant, and don’t forget to stream the upcoming second season of the show on HBO Max starting April 21.
