We’re guessing you are just as curious as we are about the upcoming Queen Charlotte Bridgerton spin-off. Queen Charlotte holds a lot of power, especially when choosing the Diamond of the First Water each season.

She speaks her mind and continues her relentless quest to unmask Lady Whistledown. While she appears frequently throughout the Bridgerton series, audiences still know very little about her.

Don’t even get us started on the romantic tragedy that is her relationship with her husband King George. You will honestly need to keep tissues nearby whenever they share a rare scene together.

But with the promise of a spin-off dedicated to the Queen, we may finally catch a glimpse at the woman under the extravagant gowns and jaw-dropping wigs. In our last article about the Queen Charlotte spin-off, we mentioned that we’ll be seeing the familiar faces of Lady Danbury and Lady Violet Bridgerton.

A young Queen Charlotte has been cast for the Queen Charlotte Bridgerton spin-off!

Today, we are sharing the excellent news that India Amarteifio (Doctor Who, The Tunnel, Sex Education) and Arsema Thomas (One Touch) will be playing a young Queen Charlotte and young Lady Agatha Danbury respectively. What’s equally exciting is Corey Mylchreest (short Mars) will be playing the young King George!

Does this mean we’ll be seeing how the two meet, fall in love and eventually marry? We certainly hope so!

It would be nice to see the kind of relationship the two build together, even if we eventually know what becomes of them in the future. Other actors joining the cast include Michelle Fairley, Sam Clemmett, Richard Cunningham, Tunji Kasim, Rob Maloney, Cyril Nri and Hugh Sachs.

What do you think will happen in the Queen Charlotte spin-off? Do you agree that this should be a limited series?
