5 The Walking Dead-themed Funko Pops! we need!

While we wait for The Walking Dead to return for one last time in the fall, we can focus on beginning or growing our collection. Whether it be fan art, framed actor autographs, clothing, or the ever-popular Funko Pops!, surely we can make some room for more right?

Funko has released several Pops! featuring The Walking Dead characters like Daryl, Negan, Rick, Carol, and Glenn over the years. Below are five characters we would love to see as Funko Pops! in the near future!

5. The Princess

Juanita Sanchez, otherwise known as Princess, has stolen our hearts with her high energy, relatability, and overall traits that we’d all want in a best friend. She’s easily become a fan favorite and fits in well with the rest of the survivors on The Walking Dead.

While her life before the apocalypse may not have been the greatest, she has not allowed that to change who she is. All the more reason she needs to have a flocked Funko Pop! of her own, complete with her signature look of goggles, purple hair and dark pink jacket.

4. Mercer

Now that the survivors have reached The Commonwealth, we have to have a Funko Pop! of the coolest, strongest guy around, Mercer. Mercer commands every scene he’s in whether he’s growing to respect and befriend Daryl, bonding with Princess, or standing by as Sebastian Milton makes a complete fool of himself.

Mercer’s Pop! will need to feature him in the iconic orange and black armor holding his axe. An exclusive Mercer Pop! could feature the same armor but covered in the blood of dead walkers.

3. Connie

Connie does not allow her inability to hear prevent her from being a kind, loyal, and strong fighter. It is her superpower and through it she has bonded with several characters on the show, especially Daryl.

Many characters have actually started learning ASL (American Sign Language) which benefited them several times. Connie’s Funko Pop! could either feature her first appearance look complete with her sling shot or take a more recent approach of her as a journalist for The Commonwealth.

2. Lucille

The Walking Dead finally revealed a portion of Negan’s complicated past by introducing his wife Lucille in the time leading to her unfortunate death. During the early days of the apocalypse the two rekindled their marriage as they spent all their time together while she sported several colored wigs due to her ongoing cancer treatment.

Which wig should Lucille wear for her own Funko Pop!? My vote is for the purple one.

But a Funko Pop! of Lucille killing the walker with ease outside her home while Negan struggled to do so would be just as welcome.

1. Eugene

Yes, Eugene already has a Pop! he’s changed a lot on The Walking Dead. And I’m not talking just about his appearance.

He may have started fearful and weak but his was always intelligent and innovative. He was able to turn the tables against Negan and always seems to find ways to solve problems of the more technological in nature.

Eugene’s new look can include his hat, denim shirt, jacket and long braided hair.
