Season 2 of the Disney Plus series Loki has begun filming

As Moon Knight draws to a close and Ms. Marvel arrives in less than a month, one Disney Plus and Marvel Studios series has begun filming a second season. Yes, Loki season 2 will begin filming on June 6 in London, England and we have Production List to thank for the reveal!

But how long will filming take and when will season 2 be released on Disney Plus? The Direct is remaining optimistic, “Outside of its brief production start one month before the pandemic halted all of Hollywood, Loki Season 1 shot for about three months in Fall 2020, making a June to August shoot for Season 2 the probable schedule.”

This is exciting news as fans have been curious when season 2 production would begin as the season 1 finale left off on a mind-boggling cliffhanger! No one knew how this would affect other Marvel shows or films, especially when Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness was going to cover the insanity and unhinged nature of multiple timelines and the dangers they pose when changed.

Specific details about season 2 have not been revealed but we can assume the likes of Loki, Sylvie, Mobius, Ravonna and even possibly Kang the Conqueror will be returning. Trouble is, no one seems to remember or even know who Loki is at the Time Variance Authority (TVA).

We are also curious if that means Miss Minutes is even present anymore. What kind of world has Loki found himself in and can it be reversed?

Will the actions in season 2 directly affect or have been affected by events in other Marvel series or films? Where did Sylvie even go?
