Will Jeffrey Dean Morgan from The Walking Dead appear on The Boys?
Let’s be honest, Jeffrey Dean Morgan is a busy guy. Between wrapping up filming for the final season of The Walking Dead, preparing to film The Walking Dead spinoff Isle of the Dead, his personal life, and newest business venture MF Libations with his wife Hilarie Burton Morgan, there is not much time to spare.
One project that Morgan shared deep interest in partaking in was a role on Amazon Prime’s The Boys. Season 3 is due to arrive on the streaming platform June 3, bringing with it Supernatural star Jensen Ackles and Walking Dead alumni actress Laurie Holden.
In January of 2020, Morgan and The Boys showrunner Eric Kripke conversed over Twitter, with Morgan jumping at the opportunity to join the cast. Trouble is, finding the time.
Morgan’s iconic role of Negan on The Walking Dead made a huge impact for the series and television as a whole. And while some fans still despise him for killing fan favorite Glenn, among other things, many adore the former leader of The Saviors.
Will we be seeing The Walking Dead’s Jeffrey Dean Morgan on The Boys?
Even though filming for The Walking Dead has finished, Morgan will be joining Lauren Cohan as Negan and Maggie team up for Isle of the Dead, due to be released next year. So, does this mean Morgan will never make a cameo in The Boys?
Well, let’s take a look at Morgan’s tweet from earlier today:
It looks like he may be available after all! Does this mean we’ll be seeing Jeffrey Dean Morgan in The Boys season 4?
If so, what role would he have? Would we see him as a good guy or one of the baddies?
We look forward to seeing Kripke’s response and what will unfold afterward!
