The very long-awaited teaser trailer for Star Wars: Andor has arrived! The original Star Wars series due to drop on Disney Plus August 31, appears like a beautifully crafted movie trailer!

In just under two minutes, viewers get to witness what appears to be the very beginnings of a rebellion against a fairly new Empire. Where exactly this fits in between the newly released Obi-Wan Kenobi series and the upcoming Star Wars: Ahsoka, we’re not sure.

The teaser trailer transports viewers to several different planets while revealing new characters on both sides and emphasizing the severity of the situation at hand. As all of this is happening, we’re hearing some of the most dramatic, bone-chilling sound effects and music which truly transforms this trailer into something cinematic!

This isn’t your run-of-the-mill Star Wars story. This is the literal takeover of an entire galaxy, and how every aspect of everyday life is going to be changed and controlled.

When will Star Wars: Andor arrive to Disney Plus?

For perhaps the first time we’ll be seeing the inner workings of politics after the Jedi are disposed. We may be seeing the beginnings of the stormtroopers and how the Clone troopers are phased out.

Diego Luna’s character from Rogue One, Cassian Andor is amongst the large cast which includes Stellan Skarsgård, Genevieve O’Reilly, Fiona Shaw and Alan Tudyk. From just this teaser trailer alone, we’ve got a pretty good feeling this will be unlike any other Star Wars series we’ve seen.

We look forward to learning more about the original series as we draw closer to the release date! Who are you most excited to see in Star Wars: Andor?

Next. When will each episode of Obi-Wan Kenobi air on Disney Plus?. dark
