Tales of The Walking Dead star Terry Crews says out of all TWD cast he wants to do a spinoff with Melissa McBride

Tales of The Walking Dead just had its season premiere last night on AMC, and it’s already been a hit with fans. Since joining The Walking Dead family Terry Crews has been a breath of fresh air.

He is such a highly successful and talented actor that has taken the apocalyptic universe by storm, and with so much excitement and love for it. In an interview with Insider Terry expressed who he would love to work with next in TWDU.

Crews told them that since Melissa McBride could not be joining Norman Reedus in what was supposed to be the Daryl and Carol spinoff, he would love to be able to step in his place. He was very excited when speaking about Melissa McBride and extremely welcoming to the idea of working with the Queen of The Walking Dead.

That is, of course, if they are looking to bring back his character Joe, a doomsday planner that was well prepared for the apocalypse. He’s already a true survivor.

I believe he would mesh well with Carol. The comedy between them could write itself.

On whom he would like to see survive season 11 he also had these kind words to say about McBride:

"“I would be devastated if something happened to her. The way she was an abused wife and then she found her strength and became a super leader. It was like, wow. Your personality isn’t permanent.”"

Crews went on to say Carol has had a beautiful arc, and he would hate it if anything happened to her. As we all would.

If anyone has earned the right to survive to the end it is her. She has saved the group time and time again in remarkable ways.

Her experience in destroying hordes of walkers looks to come into play in the final episodes of The Walking Dead, and we can’t wait. The news of Crews’ desire to work with Melissa took off quickly on Twitter.

Fans are already on board with the idea and want it to happen.

If, for some reason, Carol goes onto another journey and can’t team up with lovable Joe, he is also interested in working with Norman Reedus. The well-earned badass of the apocalypse.

He thinks they could really mess some things up together. It’s not hard to see the similarities between Joe and Daryl.

Both have had dogs they have adored and lived for. They are both bikers with big hearts.

Though we also know Daryl Dixon is not a trusting guy, but this would be a duo worth watching. While this may be a pipe dream nobody can fault Crews for having this wish.

Carol has had one of the most developed arcs of any character. She transformed herself from starting as a shattered woman to becoming an unimaginable warrior.

McBride is a highly regarded critically acclaimed actress whose talent is second to none. She was just nominated for another Saturn Award.

She has been nominated since 2014 and won 2 consecutive years in a row in 2014 and 2015. The taste of Terry is genuine and brilliant.

I would want to follow in those footsteps too.
