What happened to Cassian searching for his sister in Andor?

With one episode left of the Disney Plus Star Wars show Andor, I can’t help but wonder what happened to Cassian searching for his sister? Taking place before the events in Star Wars: Rogue One, Cassian Andor searches for his sister, which leads to him killing two guards.

It is this event that practically thrusts Andor into involvement with the beginnings of the Rebel Alliance, which placing those he loves and cares about in grave danger. We learn over the course of several episodes, that Andor’s real name was Kassa.

Originally from the planet Kenari, he was saved as a child from the Empire as he explored a crashed ship. Wanting to feel older and mature, he followed the children to the crashed ship, leaving his sister behind.

However, while Andor enters the ship, the rest of the children he traveled with, return home, carrying the dead body of their leader. He is found by droid B2EMO, Clem and Maarva Andor, who were raiding the crashed ship.

Where is Cassian’s sister in Andor?

To spare him a most painful and cruel death they take him with them. Since this revelation, the show has yet to return to Andor’s past.

What happened to his sister? What happened to the rest of his village?

Apparently, the events on Kenari are so crucial that Andor was given strict orders by Maarva to never tell anyone he was from there. Supposedly, the village was killed but Andor must have received some clue to his sister’s survival.

Otherwise, why would he be searching for her? But since his return to Ferrix, Andor has had to deal with a multitude of enemies, close calls, and his troubles are still not over yet.

It has been confirmed that a season 2 is underway, which could mean the story will return to Andor’s mission to find his sister. The question remains, where is she?
