The Mandalorian Season 3 Release Date and Trailer
Even though it has almost been two years since Mandalorian Din Djarin and The Child have last been on our screens, audiences will have to wait just a little bit longer for The Mandalorian season 3. The finale for season 2 saw the shocking cameo of everyone’s favorite son of Padme Amidala and Anakin Skywalker, and fans have not received another episode since.

The titular bounty hunter did show his Beskar armor around Mos Espa and Tatooine in The Book of Boba Fett, but this has only left fans clamoring for more. Now as 2022 is coming to a close, the folks over at Lucasfilm and Disney+ have revealed when audiences can expect to see Mando and Grogu together again.
The Mandalorian Season 3 Release Date
As first revealed on their social media accounts, we now know that The Mandalorian season 3 release date will be March 1, 2023. This means from the finale of season 2, to this upcoming third season premiere, there will have been 803 days passed in between.

The Mandalorian Season 3 Teaser Trailer
If you missed it when it was released at the end of summer, here is the first teaser trailer for The Mandalorian season 3. From callbacks to previous seasons, to the return of familiar faces and what’s next for the iconic duo, it seems season 3 will deliver a very promising next season.
What will The Mandalorian season 3 be about?
While much of the information about the upcoming season has been kept unsurprisingly a secret, audiences still do know one of the major story points heading into the third season. As revealed in Din Djarin’s aforementioned appearance in The Book of Boba Fett, the Mandalorian has been tasked with returning to his home planet of Mandalore.
Since Djarin removed his helmet in the presence of others and showed his face, he will have to try and redeem himself in the eyes of his community and the traditions he holds in high regard. Expect to see more trailers and promotional material in the coming weeks.
