If you have been following any and all The Walking Dead-related news, then you may have come across the latest Rick and Michonne spinoff rumors. The most recent rumor from the realm of social media platform Twitter, is that the spinoff will only be one season long, consisting of six episodes.

In regard to the other AMC Walking Dead spinoffs, due to be released next year, Dead City and Daryl Dixon, we have yet to receive official confirmation if those will follow the same one-season recipe. While one season might seem like a real time crunch to fit in stories that carry over from the completed The Walking Dead series, it might be more plausible than we think.

What we are concerned about, speaking to the Rick and Michonne spinoff specifically, is how the king and queen of the apocalypse’s story will end? We’d be surprised if the story ends tragically for the power couple, since the actual Walking Dead series finale ended on a high note for a majority of the characters.

Fans want a happy ending for both characters and their children. There was no denying that Judith and RJ, have been tossed around like near hot potatoes to the next person they are closest to in their group.

Will the Rick and Michonne spinoff end on a happy note?

Truthfully, it feels as though they are more often on their own than under the watchful eye of a guardian. Will Rick and Michonne reunite with their family and what will audiences learn about the CRM?

Could the CRM be taken down and defeated in a single season? How big is the outreach of this organization?

Where will the Rick and Michonne spinoff film? Will other characters from The Walking Dead make an appearance in the spinoff?

We look forward to finding the answers and sharing them!

If it’s true that the Rick & Michonne series will only be one season…I’m going to be content if they deliver a satisfying conclusion to the story of their characters and their children.

dark. Next. Star Wars has a glaring issue that needs to be fixed
