Yes, Po and Wander Blade will be returning for another season of Kung Fu Panda: The Dragon Knight! Get ready to feel the thunder, again, as season 2 will air on Netflix on January 12, 2023.

Season 2 will consist of 12 episodes, where we will undoubtedly see the return of our heroes and the continuation of their current quest. Season 1 concluded on a rather intense cliffhanger.

Wandering Blade is revealed to have lied about her knight status as she stole her brother Alfred’s armor and sword in the hopes of avenging his death. The killers are weasel siblings Klaus and Veruca, who are stealing the four Tianshang Weapons.

Wandering Blade has been chasing them since they escaped England, thus running into Po as his Dragon Master status is revoked due to his failure to protect the first weapon. Sadly, we do not see the Furious Five or Master Shifu.

How many episodes will there be in Kung Fu Panda: The Dragon Knight season 2?

Klaus and Veruca may have the gauntlet, but the group is able to retrieve the whip. The problem is that the other weapons are located outside of China.

Po has never left China, so this may become a bigger and scarier mission than he originally planned. Thankfully he’ll have Wandering Blade, the monkey thief and his father traveling with him.

But what can fans truly expect from season 2? What’s on Netflix shared all 12-episode titles, which includes a two-part season finale; Apok-ta-pokalypse Now Part 1 and Part 2.

While the word apocalypse is misspelled, it makes you wonder if that was done on purpose to misdirect the audience or if it will mean season 2 will also end on a cliffhanger. Rest assured we cannot wait to see season 2 as we were unsure what the fate would be of this DreamWorks and Netflix series!
