Star Wars has come to live in its own dedicated land at both Walt Disney World and Disneyland. Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge takes visitors to a planet called Batuu where you can build your own lightsaber, enjoy out-of-this-world food and drinks, and possibly pilot The Millennium Falcon.

As guests wander about the landscape, they will hear the sounds of starships flying overhead and possibly meet friends and foes up close. Originally, Star Wars characters like Rey, Kylo Ren and First Order Troopers traversed Batuu, but now it seems characters from popular live-action Disney Plus series are making appearances.

The most recent is the thrilling, ultimate power duo, Mandalorian Din Djarin, and Grogu. With fans and guests responding very well to their addition, not to mention Boba Fett and Fennec Shand, we’d like to see more characters arriving.

Listed in no particular are 5 Star Wars characters we’d like to see at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge.

5. Ahsoka Tano

Starting off our list is the ever-popular Ahsoka Tano. The wielder of two white lightsabers first appeared in Star Wars: The Clone Wars.

Since then, audiences have seen her in The Mandalorian as she helps Mandalorian Din Djarin seek Jedi to help Grogu. The fact she has an upcoming series coming to Disney Plus would definitely draw a huge crowd!

Ahsoka would be ideal for meet and greets! Let her take photos with fans, let her run about and battle stormtroopers or have her and Mando put on a show for the crowd as they try to escape bad guys and rescue Grogu.

The possibilities are limitless!

4. IG-11

As yes, the battle droid with a heart of gold! When we were putting together our list, it didn’t take us long to figure out how to incorporate the likes of IG-11 into Batuu.

Unlike R2-D2 and BB-8, this droid is very tall and moves slowly. This means either an actor could be playing the part, as long as the performance is believable, or IG-11 remains stationed at one or two locations from the waist up.

This will enable him to literally pop up anywhere, at any time. He could interact with guests as they pass, perhaps asking about Grogu’s whereabouts so he can complete his mission.

Or he could simply fulfill his nurse droid mission and ask for guests to help him fine Grogu so he can protect him.

3. Peli Motto

Spunky, wisecracking and innovative Peli Motto might not be the first character that comes to mind, but you have to admit, she’s a joy to watch. If she’s not busting Mando’s chops, or heckling her pit droids, she’s doting on Grogu.

So how does she fit in with Galaxy’s Edge? Peli Motto can be set up in a side attraction that guests will pass by as they move about the land.

She can be seen repairing a starship or even The Razor Crest, with pit droids around her to help. She can converse with guests asking her questions, that she can choose to answer or avoid depending on the specific question (meaning spoilers).

Kids would absolutely love to see this as they will be watching her repair starships or simply counting the money she obtained from her latest customer. Like every other character, she can move to different settings at random times, so that you never know when she’ll pop up!

If you really want to up the game, have Grogu with her so that it looks like Mando is on another mission that he can’t bring the adorable alien to.

2. The Inquisitors

The First Order Troopers will have some competition if these characters come marching down the streets of Batuu. For obvious reasons, they and the First Order Troopers will need to be set to a specific schedule as to avoid interaction and audience confusion.

But imagine the surprise on guest’s faces when these terrifying characters begin asking if Jedi have been seen in the area. They would become pivotal to Batuu, as a huge part of why the land is successful is the immersion.

Guests can choose if they want to be aiding the heroes or villains. The only downside is that in order for the Inquisitors to really impress the crowds, there will need to be one or several Jedi they are trying to find.

These can be unnamed Jedi who are hiding about, we don’t necessarily need Obi-Wan Kenobi. Depending on who the Inquisitors question, determines the outcome of the performance.

Will the guest lead them away from the Jedi? Or will the guest join forces with the Inquisitors, which can lead to a well-choregraphed chase scene?

1. Cad Bane

Admittedly, when we were putting together this list, we were worried that Cad Bane would be too scary for guests. Especially children.

While characters like Darth Vader and Kylo Ren can be menacing, Cad Bane’s look is on a whole new level. Even I was taken aback.

Cad Bane first appeared in Star Wars: The Clone Wars but really took audiences by surprise in The Book of Boba Fett. The bounty hunter arrives hoping to challenge and kill Boba Fett but winds up losing the battle thanks to Fett learning and using Tusken Raider ways of fighting.

We’re suggesting that Galaxy’s Edge use this rivalry to their advantage and perhaps have Cad Bane and Boba Fett battle each other at random times and locations. It would certainly turn heads and create quite the crowd.
