Well, it looks like we’ll be changing some important dates on our calendars because The Walking Dead spinoffs have new release dates. What are we talking about?

Well, it seems that Dead City, the Maggie and Negan spinoff, (once named Isle of the Dead), will not be arriving in April as previously planned. Instead, fans will have to wait until June to see the duo take on walkers in New York.

The Daryl Dixon spinoff, which is filming in France, is projected to be released later this year. And unfortunately, the news that stings the most, the Rick and Michonne spinoff won’t air until next year.

If we are being honest, we had a hard time believing that all three spinoffs would air in 2023, as the Daryl Dixon spinoff just began filming, meanwhile the Rick and Michonne spinoff hadn’t even started filming. In fact, the King and Queen of the apocalypse should be filming their spinoff shortly.

Which The Walking Dead spinoff do you look forward to watching the most?

Rumors continue to fly about where filming will be taking place, but it sounds like The Walking Dead will be returning to New Jersey. From the amount of time, we noticed Dead City was filming for only six episodes, it didn’t make plausible sense to have all three spinoffs are in the same year.

Regardless, we look forward to all three and hope to see more details about the Daryl Dixon and Rick and Michonne spinoffs.
