Moon Knight receives 2 Critics Choice Super Awards nominations
Yes, we’ve been talking a lot about Moon Knight recently. What can we say, we’re big fans!
The show took a very different approach to the usual origin story formula, by introducing Steven Grant as the main character. Instead, audiences discover that the true main character is Marc Spector, meaning Steven is one of his multiple personalities.
It is also Marc Spector who was chosen and saved from death by the Egyptian god Khonshu to become Moon Knight. Yes, it’s crazy, we know, and we love it!
In case you missed our most recent news about the Disney Plus Marvel show, Kevin Feige mentioned the character in a recent Entertainment Weekly interview. Feige stated, “I think there’s a future for that character as we move forward,”.
How many Critics Choice Super Awards nominations did Moon Knight receive?
Which for us, and fans of the compelling, multiple-personality anti-hero, is nothing short of good and promising news. Now, why are we talking about Moon Knight today?
Well, the show has received two Critics Choice Super Awards nominations:
- Best Actor in a Superhero Series, Limited Series or Made-For-TV Movie – Oscar Isaac
- Best Villain in a Series, Limited Series or Made-For-TV Movie – Ethan Hawke
Moon Knight isn’t the only Disney Plus Marvel show to receive nominations. Ms. Marvel, She-Hulk: Attorney at Law and Werewolf by Night are formidable competitors to say the least.
We wish all the nominees the best of luck! The 3rd Annual Critics Choice Super Award winners will be announced on March 16.
