HBO partners with HBO Max their streaming service and Discovery Plus giving fans and wide range of movies and series from the past and present. There is a bright new future for the land of HBO Max bringing phenomenal content to you for the foreseeable future.
HBO Max has announced that this new series will be a continuation of the story in the movies. The movie’s producer Peter Safran is set to executive produce this new and exciting show for HBO Max. James Wan is also in talks to executive produce as well. Nothing has been confirmed for Wan yet but they really want to get him on board.
After the huge success of The Last of Us this box office to television adaptation is looking to be a future gigantic success.
As we look forward to this television series in September you can see another version of The Conjuring franchise when The Nun 2 premieres.
No story plot has been revealed at this time just that the story will be a continuation of the franchise movies. Within all the movies of The Conjuring, there are an ample amount of stories they could choose from. Which will hopefully make as many seasons as possible.
It has been one of the biggest horror franchises in the last decade with all nine films: The Conjuring, The Conjuring 2, The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It, Annabelle, Annabelle: Creation, The Nun, The Curse of La Llorona, Annabelle Comes Homes, and the future The Nun 2.
The future installment of The Nun 2 is set in 1956 France where a priest is murdered. Evil is spreading and sister Irene once again comes face to face with a demonic force.
The most recent installment of The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It, was a sequel to the first two movies of the franchise. Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga reprised their roles are the famous paranormal investigators and authors that surround themselves around a murder trial that took place in Connecticut in the year 1981. Where they document the exorcism of an 8-year-old boy.
With already huge masterpieces at HBO such as The Last of Us, House of The Dragon, Succession, and now the upcoming The Conjuring and Harry Potter live-action series.
HBO is sure to keep the money and fans rolling in. Taking two huge movie franchises and turning them into television series is a genius move. Those movies of course will be a hard act to follow but two that we will all wait for with excitement.
