But when the Manticore men inform Dahila that the case has been stolen and that Mason is alive, she orders them to bring the case back safely along with Mason alive. During a car chase, Bernard tells Mason about an injection that contains all his memories.

He explains that if Mason injects this into his neck, all his old memories will be revived. Before Mason can use the injection, their car is attacked, and Bernard dies in the shooting.

Mason escapes and manages to locate Nadia with the help of the briefcase. Mason and Nadia collide in a restaurant where he asks her about the Citadel.

Nadia refuses to recognize him and denies remembering anything from the past. Mason opens the briefcase with Nadia’s help and finds her name mentioned there.

He asks her to take the injection to regain her memories, but she refuses. The Manticore men arrive at the restaurant, recognize Nadia and attack her.

Nadia takes the injection in her neck and regains all her memories and power. She counter-attacks the Manticore men and manages to get rid of them.

Mason and Nadia run away while a Manticore man, Davik, follows them. Meanwhile, Bernard is revealed to be alive and captured by Dahila, who is interrogating him for the codes and the case.

The episode ends with Mason and Nadia on the run from Davik, while Bernard is in the hands of Dahila.

Citadel Season 1 Episode 2 recap Review

Season 1 episode 2 was action-packed and full of suspense, as we were finally given some insight into Nadia’s backstory and her connection to Mason and Bernard. The episode was fast paced, with several unexpected twists and turns that kept the viewers on the edge of their seats.
