Last time we took a very special look at the first two seasons of Wahl Street, the reality show which gave an unguarded inside look at the life of actor, Mark Wahlberg and his many endeavors. But what of a season 3?

Will we be seeing Wahlberg and his entourage returning to take on yet another business venture? Rotten Tomatoes gave Wahl Street a 40% on the infamous Tomato Meter, but it got a very decent 73% for the audience score.

And, as far as online reviews go, it got mostly favorable reviews, but you did get the occasional “do we really need to be watching this,” vantage point from some individuals. Hey, everybody has a right to their opinion with much respect.

I reviewed both seasons of the show and really could not have been more impressed with a reality show in this era or even the last few eras of what we were delivered as an audience in terms of reality TV, (which is mostly scripted anyways—so much for reality).

To briefly recap, Wahl Street delivered, but I promised I wouldn’t continue with this piece writing a second ode to the wonder that has been this show. So, let’s go do some investigative journalism, shall we?

Will Wahl Street be returning for a third season?

Ah the time has come to return to my investigative journalism roots…uncovering truths for the sake of the people. ‘People have a right to know,’ is the old journalism credo, and in this case, people want to know if Wahl Street is returning for a third season.

The truth is dear readers, we don’t yet know. Cue the saddest of trombone sound effects now, please…Wah, Wah, Wah, Wah!!

As has been reported by nextseasontv.com, a third season is still not yet in the works nor has been given the green light. The show is produced by Unrealistic Ideas, the production company owned by Wahlberg himself.

The company is still producing loads of content and is, of course, hard at work at it. But HBO Max has not yet given the go-ahead, so to speak, as of yet.

There is good news, though: HBO Max has not cancelled the series either, so there is a light at the end of this excruciatingly long tunnel of a wait for more content from this show for fans of it.

Hopeful? Yes indeed.

Heck, after a lifetime of looking at the glass as half empty, perhaps now is the time to look at it as half full.
