Citadel Season 1, Episode 6 Recap

Tensions rise as Mason, Carter and Nadia face a dangerous situation orchestrated by the organization known as Manticore, led by the formidable Dahlia. Their mission becomes twofold: retrieve the cores of nuclear missiles demanded by Dahlia to secure the release of Asha, Nadia and Mason’s daughter and thwart Davik, Dahlia’s vengeful right-hand man seeking retribution for his brother’s death.

Taken aboard a submarine in the Pacific Ocean, Asha’s fate hangs in the balance. Dahlia needs Mason’s unique biometric data to unlock the submarine and obtain the missile cores for Manticore’s plans.

However, Davik has his own secret agenda. Believing Mason to be deceased after a confrontation, he launches the missiles towards Manticore’s headquarters, driven by a desire for power within the organization.

Meanwhile, Nadia takes matters into her own hands, eliminating the Manticore agents on the plane and bravely jumping into the ocean. Carter’s efforts succeed in reviving Mason, who discovers Davik’s treachery.

Unfortunately, Mason, still under the influence of his alter ego, Kyle, is unable to stop Davik. Just in time, Nadia intervenes, rendering Davik unconscious and securing the missile cores.

Amidst the chaos, Mason and Nadia escape together, rekindling their past partnership. Their journey leads them to Valencia, where Manticore holds Aasha hostage.

Delivering the missile cores, they face an unexpected obstacle—a second code required to unlock them. Carter takes matters into his own hands, shooting the Manticore agent holding Asha and saving her from a fatal fall.

Finally, Mason catches Asha, reuniting her with Nadia after an agonizing separation of 8 years. Meanwhile, Dahlia, faced with the consequences of her failure, manages to escape just before her house is destroyed.

Left alone and isolated, her future intentions remain uncertain. Will she become an even greater enemy, seeking revenge on Mason and Nadia?

Or will she attempt to align herself with Mason to protect herself from Manticore’s wrath? This episode showcases the unwavering determination of its main characters, unexpected alliances formed under pressure and the ultimate triumph of love and family in a dangerous world of spies and betrayal.
