Disney is gearing up for the second season on Loki, set to premiere on October 6 of this year. Loki is making history for Disney+ and Marvel as it is the first MCU TV show to get a second season on the streaming platform.

This is a good thing given that the first season ended on a pretty big cliffhanger. With the premiere date creeping ever closer, let’s take a look at everyone we know is going to show up in Loki season 2.

1. Loki – Tom Hiddleston

Let’s get the obvious one out of the way first. The show is named after Loki, so it should be no surprise that he’ll be front and center, just like he was in the last season.

Tom Hiddleston has been playing the God of Mischief since 2011 when he appeared in the first Thor movie. Since then, Hiddleston has played the character in 5 different movies, as well as the series based around the character.

2. Mobius – Owen Wilson

Loki’s main partner from the first season is back as well. While this might not be the same Mobius from the first season, thanks to the multiverse and time travel shenanigans that are central to the series, Owen Wilson is back to play the character, whichever version this ends up being.

3. Kang – Jonathan Majors

Technically we’ve seen a little bit of the second season of Loki already. At the end of Ant-man and the Wasp: Quantumania, we get a scene during the end credits that appears to be a very short segment from an episode of the upcoming second season.

In the scene we get a glimpse of Loki, Mobius and Kang, or at least the Victor Timely version of Kang.

4. Sylvie – Sophia Di Martino

Sylvie, a female variant of Loki, did die at the end of the first season of Loki, but it was her death that launched the multiverse. Which means that it’s entirely possible to find a way for the character to come back.

Some images from the set suggest that Loki will run into this variant of himself again at some point in the second season.

5. Judge Renslayer – Gugu Mbatha-Raw

Renslayer seemed like she was going to be the primary antagonist of the first season before it was revealed that much bigger things were happening in the series. Mbatha-Raw is slated to return for the second season, though much like with Wilson, we don’t know if this is the exact same character we met in season one or if it’s going to be a variant of some kind.

6. Hunter B-15 – Wunmi Mosaku

Hunter B-15 served as the leader of the TVA’s minutemen in the first season, and it seems like she’s going to be back again. Like every other employee of the TVA, in the second season there’s a good chance that she’s going to be a different version of herself thanks to how the last season ended.

But we’ll probably get to see a lot more of her now, given how everything is falling apart for the TVA.

7. Casey – Eugene Cordero

Eugene Cordero had a very minor role in the first season as the character used to highlight the bureaucratic side of the TVA, as he focused on the paperwork side of things. However, it looks like the role is getting expanded in the second season, as Cordero has been bumped up to series regular.

We might get to see Casey outside the office on an adventure with Loki and Mobius.

8. Miss Minutes – Tara Strong

In season one, this animated clock was used to so helpfully explain how the TVA operated and how they went about in their mission to prevent the multiverse from being created. We know that we’re going to see more of Miss Minutes in the second season as well.

Which means there’s a good chance something very complicated is going to need to be explained in simple terms, so that we can follow the plot.

9. Unknown character – Kate Dickie

The cast for season two isn’t just the returning cast of season 1. Katie Dickie, who is best known for playing Lysa Arryn on Game of Thrones has been cast in an unknown role. While there has been some fan speculation as to who her character may be (including possibly another female Loki variant given that the actress looks similar to Sophia Di Martino), nothing has been confirmed by Marvel so far.

10. Unknown character – Rafael Casal

Rafael Casal has also been cast in an unknown role for the second season. Like Dickie, the details of who Casal will be playing are still kept under wraps.

However, a set photo made it to the internet showing him wearing a uniform similar to the one Loki wore in the first season when he was a prisoner of the TVA. It’s possible that Casal may be on the wrong side of the TVA forces at some point in the season.

11. Ouroboros – Ke Huy Quan

It was announced that the Oscar winner for his performance in Everything Everywhere All at Once would be taking a role in the new season, as we actually have a little bit of information about his character. It seems like this new character will be an employee of the TVA as well but will be in charge of all the tech the TVA uses in order to carry out their mission.

Whether we will get to see Ke Huy Quan out in the field, or if he’ll mostly stay in his office for the season, we don’t know. But it seems like we’ll get a Q-style character for the version of the TVA we saw at the end of the last season.
