AMC has been slowly revealing little bits and pieces about The Walking Dead spinoff, The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon. However, the biggest reveal yet is the premiere date!
Mark your calendars for Daryl Dixon’s return on September 10 on AMC! Along with the announcement, the official Twitter account for The Walking Dead shared several images from the spinoff.
These include gruesome walkers, French nuns, Clémence Poésy’s character, and Daryl doing what he does best; teaching young children how to use their weapons. Naturally, it seems they have set him up to once again be a father figure of sorts to a young girl.
We wouldn’t expect otherwise. We’d be lying if we also didn’t say that Daryl looks completely out of his element, which is valid considering he is in another country with no idea how he got there.
The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon is premiering in September!
AMC has yet to officially announce a Daryl Dixon season 2 (unless that was planned for the San Diego Comic-Con panel which now might not be happening), even though there have been several leaked images and videos including that of Carol’s return. Thankfully the gap between The Walking Dead: Dead City’s season finale and Daryl Dixon will not be that long.
Not to mention we’ll have Fear the Walking Dead season 8B supposedly arriving not long after. It appears as though 2023 will be closing out with several Walking Dead projects, leading up to the highly anticipated release of the Rick and Michonne spinoff.
In the meantime, we’d love to hear your thoughts and opinions about the upcoming Daryl Dixon spinoff. How do you think Daryl got to France?
How will Daryl return home? When will AMC officially announce Daryl Dixon season 2?
