When will Fear the Walking Dead season 8 be returning?
By Shay McBryde
Fear the Walking Dead came back to our screens in May for its eighth and final season. There is now a return date for the second half of The Walking Dead’s first spinoff.
Though it will be hard to say goodbye, the final part of the journey will begin on October 22 on AMC and AMC Plus. Fear the Walking Dead has concluded its long-time run with Morgan Jones (Lennie James) and the story will now focus on the woman who started this journey, Madison Clark (Kim Dickens).
The final season will consist of the remaining 6 episodes. There is still the elusive return of Victor Strand (Colman Domingo) and the emergence of Troy Otto (Daniel Sharman), which may or may not be a flashback.
There are the hopeful fans, wishing for the moment Madison and Alicia Clark reunite. The upcoming San Diego Comic-Con will not look the same this year.
What can Fear the Walking Dead fans expect at San Diego Comic Con?
Ever since the pandemic began, fans are used to a few hiccups. However, this time around it’s due to the SAG-AFTRA and WGA strikes.
There will be no panels with actors or show runners. The Walking Dead Universe will have a watch party in Hall H on Friday, July 21 at 1:00 PM Pacific Time.
For Fear the Walking Dead, fans will get a look in a clip from the final episodes.
In season 8 part 2 of Fear the Walking Dead Madison will be finishing what she started with PADRE, making the situation better and hopefully reuniting parents with their children. With the return of both her and Strand on screen, it’s sure to be a big upgrade from the first half of the final season.
We will also see the likes of Daniel (Ruben Blades) and Luciana (Danay Garcia). Fans will also get more of Dwight (Austin Amelio) and Sherry (Christine Evangelista).
Expect all of them to look back at their past from where they started to where they are now. The show should be left in the hands of the ones who started this adventure.
It will be fascinating to see where they all end up before the curtain closes.
