Ragnarok season 3 episode 3 recap: A Night of Revelry and Betrayal

Magne’s night takes a surprising turn when he wakes up next to Saxa, making us wonder about their new connection. Fjor and Ran are there too, keeping an eye on him. This happens at the Jutul family’s place after a wedding, but things are getting tense downstairs.

Ran and Fjor talk to Saxa, and she drops a bombshell. She wants to side with the most powerful god, using Magne as a pawn to go against her own family. Fjor isn’t happy about this, and it’s totally understandable.

Magne’s sister, Signy, is struggling with his choice to join the Jutul family. When their mom, Turid, tries to step in, Magne shows his power, leaving her amazed.

In another part of the story, Laurits faces discrimination when he kisses Jens at work. This shows the difficulties LGBTQ+ people can face. It’s important to know that even though this happens, Norway is one of the best countries in the world for LGBTQ+ rights.

On the other hand, Ran keeps going to therapy and realizes that she has a bad influence on others. Something shocking comes out: she’s been treating Saxa like a virtual slave for almost a year. Oddly, her quest to find a boyfriend is seen as a good thing.

Iman comes back to Edda and meets Wotan. He tells her that Magne is heading towards chaos and advises her to use her power to see the upcoming disaster. It looks like Ragnarok might be coming soon.

In the human world, Fjor keeps up his act as the calm CEO while the police look into Marianne’s mysterious death. He says Marianne was only there for two days and seemed stressed. He conveniently mentions that he dropped her off.

But there’s a dark secret. Another group of backpackers has gone missing, and Fjor knows why. He’s been secretly feeding a serpent, satisfying its huge appetite.

Laurits’ attempts to feed it random food aren’t enough. This leads to a horrifying discovery when the serpent spits out a mutilated leg in response to Laurits’ question.

Fjor’s evil scheme becomes clear when he tricks Magne into a race on the lake. It’s a clever trick because Fjor’s boat stops working, leaving Magne stuck. Fjor speeds away, leaving Magne by himself and in danger.

Wotan senses that Magne is in big trouble, thanks to his watchful ravens. In an odd turn of events, he decides to talk to the Gods after smoking a joint to get in the right mood. But their meeting gets interrupted when the police show up and arrest them both.

Meanwhile, Magne goes on an unexpected fishing trip and catches the serpent “Little O.” With his hammer, he tries to face the creature, but things go very wrong when it swallows Mjolnir, leaving Magne in a tough spot.

In “Losing My Religion,” in Season 3 of Ragnarok, the story gets even more complex with intrigue, alliances, and hidden secrets. As the series reaches its midpoint, the stakes are higher than ever, and the fate of both gods and humans is uncertain.
