Truthfully the world of television has been changing rather rapidly, thanks to the plethora of streaming services and confusion over why some shows are canceled, and others survive. In regard to shows that didn’t quite make the mark, you may be surprised which one made TVLine’s list.

The list featured 10 TV shows, ranked as the worst of 2023. While many will rally together and agree that The Idol, Velma, and Secret Invasion have earned their spots, we’re curious about how fans feel about Fear the Walking Dead’s position.

Spoiler alert, they take the Number 2 spot on this list. This can be heartbreaking for many as this was the last season of Fear the Walking Dead, having ran for a total of 8 seasons.

Is Fear the Walking Dead one of the worst TV shows of 2023?

Others may think that the show should have ended a while ago. But relatively speaking, for a show to be ranked as one of the worst of the year, especially during its final season, must be extremely frustrating.

Based on our experience watching and recapping the final season, it was a mixed bag. Some aspects worked while others left us scratching our heads.

It was great to see some characters return but at times these characters did not live up to our expectations. If you are curious about what happens in the final season of Fear the Walking Dead, check out our recaps.
